Classical Music Society

Meetings & Venues- Recorded Music

The Classical Music Society's regular meetings usually take place on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month throughout the year with the exception of August. Recorded music is played on the Society's high-quality equipment that ensures excellent reproduction of cassettes and compact discs.

These programmes may have themes, e.g. favourite composers, music from a particular country or music associated with some other topic e.g. literature, art, travel, etc, and are presented by one or more members of the Society or by an outside contributor from the music fraternity or from a sister music society.

Other meetings feature illustrated lectures by professional presenters and are held at regular intervals.

The normal venue for these meetings is Holy Innocents Community Hall, Foley Park, Kidderminster. Meetings start at 7.30 pm and usually finish by 10 pm. There is adequate car parking and, being a single-storey building with a ground level entrance is very accessible for disabled visitors.
