Miah Persson and Auke Vondung. ‘One of the best performances ever!’

15th Dec:      KALMAN: ‘The Gypsy Princess’. Opera Australia
at the Sydney Opera House 1990, conducted by Richard Bonynge with Deborah Riedel,
Anson Austin and Roger Lemke.

2008

12th Jan:      GLUCK: ‘Orfeo’ from Glyndebourne 1982,
conducted by Raymond Leppard with Janet Baker as the eponymous hero.

23rd Feb:      Profile of Darcy Bussell followed by the Royal Opera House
new production of ‘Sylvia’ by Ross McGibbon with Darcy and Roberto Bolle.

 22nd Mar:     VERDI: ‘Don Carlos’ from Theatre du Châtelet, Paris, 1996, conducted Antonio Pappano
with Roberto Alagna, Thomas Hampson and  Karita Mattila et al.

 19th Apr:       MORENO-TORROBA: ‘Luisa Fernanda’ from Teatro Real, Madrid,
conducted by Jesus Lopez-Cobos with Domingo, Nancy Herrera and José Bros.
