4 hands, 1 piano. Jonathon and Tom Scott, both concert pianists and professors at the RNCM,
open our season with a special programme on the new piano.

Wed 24 Oct

Oliver Webber (violin) with harpsichord accompaniment:
‘From Monteverdi to Mozart’, playing on a variety of violins.

Wed 28 Nov

Clara Taylor, Chief Examiner for the Associated Boards
offers a light-hearted view of music exams with filmed illustrations.

2008

Wed 23 Jan

John Jordan, lately Music Director at St Margaret’s Church,
will talk about Bach’s music and play on a clavichord.

Wed 27 Feb

Paul Westcott of Chandos Records,
introduces a variety of special recordings from the Chandos catalogue.

Wed 26 March

Paul Campion, writer, broadcaster and lecturer,
on ‘Kathleen Ferrier; her life and legacy’.

Wed 23 April

Rachel Byron (soprano) accompanying herself on harp
presents a varied programme of music (Thoresby College).

Wed 21 May

AGM (7pm)
followed by (7.30pm)
David Baddeley
, our Treasurer,
on the history of our Society, with musical illustrations (Thoresby College).
