We meet throughout almost the entire year in the magnificent

Assembly House, Theatre Street, Norwich

to listen to fine music through superior high quality sound equipment and we arrange informative illustrated
talks by well-known experts from the world of music and invite personalities to present programmes.

February 1st

"The Grand Tour of Europe Updated"
NMS Chairman Brian Pearce presents music by
Debussy, Respighi, Albeniz and the Strauss family.

February 15th
"The Concerto in Europe"
Music including John Garth's "Cello Concerto No.2" and Georg Wagenseil's "Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra".
Arranged and presented by Andrew Slatter, NMS Secretary.
February 29th
"Wagner On The Ring Road To Bayreuth"
Guest presenter Dr Jim Pritchard will take us through Wagner's life and show how his ideas and music developed over the years.
March 14th
"A Musical Journey Through Western Europe"
Suffolk-based composer Elis Pehkonen returns to play music
from his CDs "Turning World" and "Over the Water".
