Founded 1944

Chairman: John Mould

OUR OBJECTIVE is to provide enjoyment for all who are interested in the art of recorded sound. The season's programme therefore is arranged to cover the many aspects of this art and the musical content is varied to suit most tastes.

THE Stoke-on Trent Recorded Music Circle (formerly Stoke-on Trent Gramophone Society) was formed in 1944. Many of the of the great changes (LPs, Stereo, Quad, Cassettes, Electrostatic Speakers, CDs and Video etc.) were first demonstrated in this area by the Society.

VISITORS are always welcome and are under no immediate obligation to join the circle.

WE MEET at the Community Centre, Marsh Hall, Grange Lane, Wolstanton on alternate Tuesdays from September to early May. Meetings begin at 7.30pm and end at 9.45pm, with an interval for tea and chat from 8.30 to 8.45pm.
