WHAT HAPPENS AT OUR MEETINGS?

Members are not pressurised to give presentations of their choice of music (well hardly ever!) but those who wish to give a recital are given every encouragement to do so. The prospective recitalists decide on a theme, select pieces of music and think of a commentary which they think may be entertaining and informative. They inform the concert secretary of the content of their presentation when he is ready to begin planning the programme for the following year. Advice and help is gladly given when required and there is a technician at hand to play the chosen CDs or tapes on the Society's first-rate audio equipment.
