Chopins Revolution a brief history of nationalism in Europe beginning with Chopin and continuing through the 19th Century. Presenter Dr Myra Soutar, B Mus, PhD Glasgow University. Dr Myra Soutar taught at Aberdeen University, Glasgow University and the RSAMD. She studied at Hamburg and Vienna and is a violinist. Upon her retirement from the Royal Scottish Academy for Music and Dance in 2009 she was made an Honorary Fellow of the Scottish Conservatory.

Vilém Tauský, Composer, Conductor and Teacher presented by Richard Beith, MA, of Stirling Recorded Music Society. Richard Beith has been a trustee of the Dvorák Society of Great Britain since 1995. He is compiler and editor of Dvorak Society Occasional Publications No 1: Rudolf Firkuný (1912- 1994) (1999) and No 6: Vilém Tauský CBE FGSM (1910-2004) (2010). Copies of the latter will be on sale on the day priced £8 |
